Your onsite program will be administered by an AVS employed Registered Nurse with Immunisation Certification. To be authorised as a Nurse Immuniser, the registered nurse must have successfully completed a recognised tertiary qualification in immunisation and meet the necessary competency standards to practice at the advanced level, outlined in the Department of Health and Human Services guidelines.
AVS checks AHPRA registration and First aid certificates along with any other state-based requirements annually for all nurses employed before the start of each influenza vaccination season. AVS nurses nationally fully adhere to the Australian Immunisation Handbook.
AVS nurses also have access to a doctor on-call to provide support and advice on specific medical questions or exceptional circumstances.
Secure online booking system and promotional material included
The AVS proprietary booking system, is a secure, customisable online booking system that takes all the additional administrative work out of an employee vaccination program, even if you have multiple sites in various States and Territories. It has been built from the ground up and tested over many years of use with the AVS flu vaccination program. The system has been updated to offer our other services in the same user-friendly manner that our clients have experienced with flu vaccination program.
No shows – pay for completed vaccinations only (T&Cs apply)
Life is busy and business schedules change, so we understand that sometimes appointments cannot be kept, due to client responsibilities, travel, meetings overrunning or sickness, for example. That’s why AVS does not charge you for no-shows after the flat fee/minimum (please refer to your proposal for details). You will only be charged for actual vaccinations administered after the flat fee/minimum. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions.
Complimentary Lollipop for everyone who got their flu shot
Everyone who has been administered with the flu jab will be offered a lollipop, they deserve a reward!
It also helps pass the 15 minutes wait period after the flu vaccination has been administered; as per Department of Health Guidelines, everyone will be asked to remain in a designated place, near the nurse, for at least 15 minutes after the immunisation to allow for observation, in case of any adverse reaction (rare).
